Levenshulme

We were employed by Amanda and John to completely re-model the 6 bedroom semi-detached Victorian house they had bought to renovate which previously was student accommodation.

Their priority was to create an open plan kitchen and dining room with a covered terrace with steps leading down to the garden and then further steps leading down to the basement. We designed a contemporary glass and steel canopy that runs across the rear of the house with stone steps at each side linking down to the garden and basement level.

The finished scheme provides a dramatic contemporary living space whilst retaining many of the original features of the house – a great example of how traditional architecture can be blended with modern materials and techniques successfully.
