Expertise in Sustainable Design
As a Chartered Architect with a background in high end residential and certified Passivhaus Designer, Alex brings a rigorous, thoughtful approach to creating beautiful, healthy, energy-efficient homes.
Her philosophy is simple: good design should work in harmony with its environment, enhancing rather than imposing upon it.
At Kimble Roden, we value craftsmanship and attention to detail, and Alex’s approach reflects this ethos.

Inspired by Global Architecture
Alex has always been fascinated about how spaces shape our lives and her interest with the grandeur of historic homes evolved into a desire to restore and reimagine buildings.
A key moment in Alex’s career was her time spent in Fez, Morocco, where she studied traditional Arabic architecture, gaining a deep appreciation for how design can respond to climate, culture and context.
A Collaborative Approach to Design
For Alex, architecture is about much more than buildings - it’s about the people who live in them. Her work is driven by a desire to understand how people interact with their homes and how thoughtful design can positively influence their daily lives.
In her role at Kimble Roden, Alex will focus on translating our initial concepts into detailed, buildable designs, while also embedding sustainable practices throughout the process.
As part of our team, Alex is excited to bring her expertise in Passivhaus design to our projects, helping to create homes that are as energy-efficient as they are stunning, and creating healthier environments for our clients in the process.
